Under EU regulations in Ireland, all hemp that is grown and sold must have a THC content below 0.2% for it to be considered legal. While the cannabis sold in the café is low in THC, it contains high levels of cannabidiol (CBD) for relaxation and stress relief. THC is a psychoactive agent found in cannabis. Illegal strains of cannabis usually contain a high concentration of THC. Customers are unable to smoke cannabis on the premises however they are able to purchase cannabis-infused coffee.
